Our Guidance Notes contain much information that you must be made aware of before you place your order – especially Section 1. View them via this link: Guidance Notes
Our memorials are made to order by highly skilled craftsmen and women. Each is personalised to the needs of the customer. There are many stages in the process. Memorials therefore take time to manufacture and install.
Please note that there are often delays in supplying and installing memorials due to events that we have no control over. These are three examples:
We source high quality stone direct from Italy, China and India. By cutting out middlemen we can offer the very best memorial prices. Since Covid 19 our suppliers have been taking longer than usual to process our bulk stone orders due to the safe working Covid 19 protocols they have had to employ.
Some cemetery offices are still having staff work from home which in some cases has increased the time it takes to obtain a permit. Delays of up to three months have been experienced with some cemeteries during 2021 and 2022. When this happens, it delays our ordering of your stone from our suppliers.
There have been periodic global shipping problems which at times has seen longer sailing times and delays in ports.
Section 1 of our Guidance Notes (pages 3 to 5) is the most important. It deals with the 10 key stages, the potential timescale and our payment terms. It is important that Section 1 is read.
Section 2 sets out the choices available for your memorial.
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER UNLESS YOU HAVE READ THESE NOTES AND YOU ACCEPT THAT THIS IS NOT A QUICK PROCESS AND THAT DELAYS CAN OCCUR.
WE RECOMMEND THAT CUSTOMERS INFORM FAMLY MEMBERS FROM THE OUTSET OF THE FACT THAT THE TIMESCALE INVOLVED IS NOT A SHORT ONE
WE CAN NEVER GUARANTEE TO FIX A MEMORIAL ON OR BY A GIVEN DATE AS THERE ARE TOO MANY FACTORS THAT ARE BEYOND OUR DIRECT CONTROL. WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT AN ORDER ON THAT UNDERSTANDING.
